Spring Court - Ventnor, Isle of WightThis development was originally the site of the Old Ventnor Laundry, closed many years earlier and having been cleared of its buildings,planning permission was granted for a courtyard setting of 12 two and three bedroom units.
Accessed via the High Street but also having some units fronting Marlbrough Road in the heart of Ventnor it attracted a mix of buyers from locals to second home owners and buy to let investors.
Designed with a seaside feel using coloured renders and weather boarded elevations the project sold very well using local agent Hose Rhodes Dickson with many units reserved off plan or prior to completion.
The site had its problems, especially it`s confined nature and the need to retain many boundary walls, also the constant running spring below ground "hence the name" proved a challenge. Despite these issues they were all supported by NHBC warranties.
